Brit Es Magazine
Victory! We have printed our issue #0 called “Dreams”. Brit Es Magazine is on paper.
We had the reception party at the Spanish Embassy the other day, and it was a total blast. Brit Es is now a reality.
All the team is very happy and we hope you enjoy the reading.
I have two articles on this first printed edition. They speak about two great artists: Saelia Aparicio and Isabel Castro Jung.
João Duarte Silva has drawn a vignette for Xavier Alcalá‘s opinion article about the Brexit situation.
You can buy the magazine in book shops, online shops, art galleries and more.
We at Brit Es firmly believe that by promoting the work of Iberian and Latin American artists and filmmakers to an international public, we are assisting an intercultural dialogue between citizens and encouraging tolerant societies, especially these days, in the era of Trump and the Brexit. For us, the internationalization of artists is directly linked to freedom of artistic expression. Curated contemporary cultural editorials and events create and contribute to the development of ideas and art strategies that address the world in all its complexity and also create opportunities for emerging creative people.
